Membership to the San Diego DX Club

Requirements:

Dues are $20 a year and multiple years cannot be prepaid. However, if a new member joins on July 1 or after during the calendar year, the dues will be $10 for the remainer of that year for that new member. This is not applicable for returning members.

From the Constitution:

2. Objectives. To provide for the interchange of information among radio amateurs interested in DX communication techniques, competitions, and to promote good sportsmanship and fellowship among all DXers.

3. Membership Any amateur subscribing to the above objectives is eligible for one of the three classes of memberships:
A: Regular: A voting member who holds either a DXCC or WAZ award (valid confirmations from 100 countries of the ARRL countries list will be acceptable in lieu of DXCC).
B. Associate: A non-voting member not having the requirements for membership but whose interests advance the Club's objectives.
C. Honorary: A non-voting, non dues-paying member away from San Diego for business, military, or other reason, for an extended period of time, or any other person deserving of club recognition.


To be considered for membership, a person must attend at least two Club meetings. He will request membership by stating his desires and presenting satisfactory evidence of his qualifications. The prospective member will be voted upon by the eligible membership present; a 2/3 affirmative vote is required for membership.

All membership dues should be mailed to the Club Secretary at the time application is filled out.
